When Tony set up the Gardeneer business in mid 2002 it had not been his original intention of it becoming his long term fulltime job. He had been a Chief Executive of a group with a turnover of c. £100m for many years and had come to a point where he needed time to reassess his role in life; it was the enjoyment and pleasure that gardening gave him which drew him towards it.
He soon found that his ‘new’ style of gardening held some appeal for both himself and his ever increasing number of customers. This encouraged him to expand and develop a team of like minded gardeners to deliver his vision to the customers:

Today, the company is still run by Tony and his family, and happily, through the demand for the Gardeneer services now employs 10 personal gardeners plus specialist landscape and design teams. With expertise across a wide range of fields, Gardeneer can provide a ‘One Stop Shop’ for all your gardening and landscaping needs.
The company has successfully grown and the aims and ideals remain the same as they were when Tony first set out on his own.
