Fencing is an effective boundary, as a windbreak, a support for plants, for privacy and to keep out any unwanted animals.
Trellis can dress it up as an addition on top of the fence or even in whole panels instead of a fence where privacy is not the main concern.
We can also add wires to help support and train climbers to show them off to greater effect.
You may be surprised that on longer runs of fence the more robust closeboard sections are often no dearer than the larchlap panels
We normally use 4"x4" wooden posts for added strength, with supporting arris rails and sacrificial gravel boards, all pre-treated for weather protection.
In normal use a larchlap fence will last about 10 years and a closeboard 15 years. However I often see fences double that age where they are in sheltered settings and have been well looked after.
Whether you require a closeboard fence for added security, a budget larchlap or trellis as a decorative boundary, Gardeneer can measure, select and erect your chosen style. For added strength and durability we can fit concrete posts and gravel boards, although the wooden posts are good for 15 years and gravel boards are easily renewed at little cost.
